Our Mission

The Mission of Bell Road Baptist Church is to fulfill Christ’s commission in our setting through worship that exalts God and proclaims His Word, while discipling, training, and involving leaders and members in ministry.

Our Vision

The Vision of Bell Road Baptist Church is to build committed people for God and positively influence our community for Christ through worship, reaching, teaching, witnessing, and caring for others.

Our History

Bell Road Baptist Church began as World Vision Baptist Mission, sponsored by Arrington Baptist Church, in July 1968. Eight years, three name changes and three relocations later, the fledgling Bell Road Baptist Church first met on the Bell Road property in 1976. Bell Road Baptist Church reverted to mission status and was renamed Bell Road Baptist Chapel in October 1978. For four years, Brentwood Baptist Church sponsored, guided and nurtured the growth and development of the mission until the Bell Road Baptist Chapel was reconstituted as Bell Road Baptist Church on December 12, 1982.

Bell Road Baptist Church has met at its current location since 1976, first as a mission then as a church, faithfully proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ to the community, state and around the world through strategic partnerships with the Nashville Baptist Association, the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.

Come and experience worship and ministry with us, to God’s glory.
